Things That Go Bump In The Night
An Evening of Ghosts & Hauntings

Boo!

Open to the public: Suggested donation $5

Marshall Auditorium, Tucson Medical Center, Grant Rd. at Craycroft

Since the beginning of recorded history people have been reporting
encounters with ghosts. Join survival researcher Mark Boccuzzi as he
gives an overview of haunting phenomena and explains how researchers
investigate allegedly haunted locations. It isn't at all like you see
on TV! During his talk, Mark also will examine "orb" photography and
give pointers on how to record for Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP).

Mark has spent the last nine years investigating haunted locations
around the U.S. and is the manager of Tucson Paranormal Research, a
nonprofit group that offers free paranormal investigative services.
When not looking for ghosts, Mark is a research assistant at the
University of Arizona where he studies entity communication, energy
healing and the effects of distant intention on biological systems. He
is also the Director of Operations and a survival researcher at The
Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential.

While the meetup was certainly informative, it more resembled reading an instruction manual about instruction manuals. Though I don't know the personal backround, unlike the extensively detailed professional backround, or personal reasons for Mr. Boccuzzi's interest in the paranormal, it certainly seemed as though he was professing an open mind while presenting the image of wearing mental and spiritual blinders.
