Hello and Happy New Year to you each and all! Based upon our recent polls, our very first North Bay Area Spirituality & Metaphysics Meetup Group has now been scheduled for Sunday, January 21, 2007! YAY! ;-D You are all invited to join us for a casual, friendly and fun Sunday afternoon lunch at The Thai Pot, centrally located about half way between Santa Rosa & Sebastopol, just off of Hwy. 12, in the Big Oak Plaza at 2478 West 3rd Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The Big Oak Plaza is located at the junction of Fulton Rd. & West 3rd St. & Hall Rd. ~ (707) 575-9296. (There is no fee for this event, but/and each person is responsible for their own meal costs plus tip.) The Thai Pot has been voted "Best Thai Food" in Sonoma county many times over by the Bohemian readership, and their many menu options are delicious and excellently prepared! The atmosphere is open & airy with windows all around, peaceful, quiet, the decor nicely appointed, and the service is always warm, welcoming and attentive. Please feel free to bring an interested friend or two (or more if you like, just please let me know at least 48 hours in advance exactly how many for reservation purposes! :-) AND... Please bring just ONE of your very favorite books which has impacted upon your life in an especially meaningful way for YOU, personally, to share with others, and we will begin to compile an awesome "recommended reading" list from there to post to our FILES section of our meetup board! For those of you who may be into a bit of astrology, our very first meetup group will fall between the NEW MOON on Friday, and Mercury sextile Jupiter on Monday, on the cusp of Capricorn & Aquarius...an auspicious time for food, fun, making new friends, and launching our new meetup group with every opportunity for the ongoing expansion, communication and new friendships we are 'envisioning' Come join in the joyful co-creation of our new metaphysical community and let's make our very first New Year's KICK-OFF Meetup for 2007 a truly special "meeting" of the minds, hearts and souls for each of us!
