What's Meetup?

Maybe it's time for a little less face-to-screen and a little more face-to-face.

What's a Meetup Group?

  •  Shelly,

The August 23rd Open House at Ed’s is still on, always has been, and you’re still RSVP'd:

    http://www.edkohout.com/openhouse.htm...

I’ll be available for mini-readings as well.

I’ll have the air on in the house in case of a hot day.

Pot luck is optional, but appreciated.

Dan’s still invited too, but he’ll have to pay a $300.00 admission fee and sit in the corner with a copy of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

    Best wishes,
    Ed Kohout

  •  Great to meet you Shelly. Ya we should talk more about the teachings of Abraham and how we weave it into our lives.
Look forward to seeing you again soon.

  •  Hey Shelly,
Thanks for the hello. I look forward to meeting you when I get the chance to go to one of the meetups. I think the only problem with making friends I have is that I don't get myself out to meet them. Hopefully this group will help. Again thanks for the welcome and I am happy there is another Jersey girl around, seems things are so different here. It would be fun to talk about sometime.

  •  Hi Shelly and thanks for the compliment. Yes, I do sell them. Please check out my website. http://www.edjejewelry.com or I have a display at Libertalia Cafe in Hillcrest.

  •  Shelly, surely you jest! So far about 9 people have signed up, most from outside of the Meatup group. It will be great to see you again, you are so much fun!

  •  Hi Shelly,
So glad we met, you're my kind of gal!
Hope to hang out again and definitely want to explore our musical collaboration!

  •  It was great to meet you too, Jersey Girl!! I didn't get to flog you, but trust that you're in line. I really really hope you make it back, and to the special events. Woo hoo!

    Ed Kohout (Jun 14, 2008 2:42 PM)
  •  Mercy!?!?! You wish!

    Ed Kohout (Jun 08, 2008 5:48 PM)
  •  Oh, Shelly, your imminent flogging will giveth me much pleasure!

    Ed Kohout (Jun 08, 2008 4:04 PM)
  •  Hi Shelly, we need a picture of you! Welcome and join us soon. Celeste

  •  Shelly, I'd prefer a gummer, if you will.

    Ed Kohout (May 27, 2008 9:21 PM)
  •  Shelly -- I will come and physically abduct you if you continue to avoid our meetup. We will "wineboard" you. (That's waterboarding but with a fine Cab Sauv.) Then, after we have your confession, we will hand you over to the Board of Directors at the Philosophical Library for further humiliation and indifference.

  •  Welcome Shelly...and the World can use more singers/
songwriter a very soulful endeavor that delights the heart strings. You sound delightful!

  •  Indeed - the world is not flat! Very applicable metaphor. When establishment science is completely valid, it will no longer neglect a great deal of observable phenomena, such as the disappearance of objects over the horizon :-)

  •  Obviously, judging by the number of shouts you've sent me tonite, you are screwing off at work far too much. What if your boss finds out? Will he fire you? Hey, then you can make it to the Wine Meetup!! Yay!!

You were supposed to say, "Not if I chop my arm off!"
